SiO2-based surface protection for improved durability

SWEP Sealix® range uses thin-film technology to seal the inner surfaces of the brazed plate heat exchanger with a protective layer of SiO2 to enhance corrosion resistance, decrease the tendency for fouling and scaling, minimize metal leaching into water, and increase durability.

Application examples

Sealix® is developed for Tap water applications but offer protection for other kinds of water-to-water applications facing similar problems with corrosion, scaling& fouling or leaching. It has also proven effect against copper leaching into oils.
